Koksal Mus Sensei holds the rank of 5th dan from Nebi Vural Sensei who is the technical director of Eurasia Aikido Organization and direct student of Nobuyoshi Tamura Shihan. Between 2010 and 2016, he served as the head instructor of METU Aikido Society with around 200 active group members. In the same period of time, he also served as a board member of Aikido and Budo Federation of Turkey, with the responsibility of organizing national and international Aikido events throughout the country, including one of the biggest Aikido events in Europe, the International Aikido Festival.
Besides Aikido, Mus Sensei is working as a teaching professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Caner Tol has a 2nd-degree black belt (Nidan) from Nebi Vural Sensei, Eurasia Aikido Organization (EAO). He practices the Aikido style of Nobuyoshi Tamura Sensei and follows the international Aikido seminars of Nebi Vural.
He was the president of the Middle East Technical University (METU) Aikido Society between 2015 and 2016. Along with practicing Aikido, he coordinated several projects which contributed to Aikido and its practitioners. One of the projects he coordinated was a Collaborative Partnership program funded by Erasmus+ Sports, which includes sportsmen exchange among the Aikido clubs located in different countries in Europe. He has been one of the coordinators of the International Aikido Festival beginning from the 5th until the 9th one.
He currently continues his Aikido practices in Worcester Aikido Dojo with Koksal Mus Sensei after moving to the USA for pursuing his Ph.D. He is also a Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at WPI.
He was the president of the Middle East Technical University (METU) Aikido Society between 2016-2017 and 2018-2019. He has been one of the coordinators of the International Aikido Festival from 6th to 9th. He was also a part of the demonstration team of Turkey in the 7th and 9th International Aikido Festival.
He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the ECE department of WPI.
